Monitor carts and understand recovery timing

Live monitoring and reports show abandoned carts, frequently abandoned products and activity by country. Administrators can receive notifications about newly abandoned carts and export cart data. Google reCAPTCHA helps prevent bots from leaving abandoned carts.

A cart remains anonymous until the user offers contact information through the WooCommerce checkout, a logged-in account, Exit Intent or Early capture, or grants web push permission. Settings let administrators disable anonymous cart collection or limit it to selected countries. CartBounty considers a cart abandoned after 60 minutes without activity. Recovery messages are sent after that period and any additional delay configured for each message. For example, a five-minute delay means a message arrives about 65 minutes after the last activity. When the customer places an order, the cart is removed from the abandoned-cart list.

Choose recovery channels and message rules

Automated recovery can use email series through ActiveCampaign, GetResponse, Brevo or MailChimp, along with web push notifications, WhatsApp messages and SMS through BulkGate. Webhooks can send cart data to automation services such as Make, Pabbly or Zapier.

Messages support dynamic content, conditional IF, ELSEIF and ELSE rules, and unique coupon codes. Reports track opens, click-throughs, recoveries and unsubscribes. Administrators can pause, resume or restart individual recovery processes, and exclude carts based on products, categories, countries, languages, IP addresses or other criteria.

Capture details and support checkout

Remember checkout fields keeps entered information available when a customer refreshes the checkout page or moves around it. Exit Intent can show a popup when visitor behavior suggests they may leave. Early capture can collect contact details after Add to cart is clicked, including details from supported third-party add-ons and custom email or phone fields. Instant coupon codes can be used with Exit Intent and Early capture.

Dynamic tab notifications can draw a visitor's attention back to the shop after they switch browser tabs. Recovery links support magic login for registered customers. Pro also works with unfinished-order recovery, restoration of custom product fields and WooCommerce Product Bundles, and translation of recovery messages with WPML, Loco Translate or GTranslate.
