Kadence Memberships Pro works with full membership or subscription sites, as well as simpler setups that hide selected content from specific users. Set access rules by WordPress visitor role, access level, membership level, plan, or membership status.
Choose who can view each resource
Kadence Memberships Pro works with full membership or subscription sites, as well as simpler setups that hide selected content from specific users. Set access rules by WordPress visitor role, access level, membership level, plan, or membership status.
Apply rules to pages, posts, archives, custom post types, WordPress blocks, WooCommerce products, API requests, and media embedded in content. Restrictions can cover a whole page or selected sections, with a custom message for users who lack access. Restricting embedded media does not protect the original file URL on the server. Front-end registration and login forms let users join or sign in from your site.
Set membership terms and payment behavior
Create unlimited membership levels or subscription packages with free, trial, or paid terms. Each level can set a price, duration, signup fee, renewal count, status, billing frequency and period, and the WordPress role assigned to members.
Stripe and manual payments are available. PayPal, Authorize.net, Braintree, and custom gateways are listed as Pro payment settings. Choose whether memberships always renew, never renew, or let the customer decide. Members can upgrade or downgrade levels; changes are prorated according to the amount already paid and the time remaining in the current membership.
Free trials can send an email as the trial approaches its end. Create percentage or flat-rate discount codes with a name, description, unique code, usage limit, and optional expiration date.
Member accounts and administration
The add-on makes pages for registration, successful registration, account management, profile editing, and billing-card updates. Members can check their account status, renewal or expiration date, and payment history, with PDF invoices for individual payments. The profile editor lets them update their name, email address, and password.
Administrators can search membership entries and view active, expired, cancelled, or pending memberships. They can add memberships manually, make bulk changes, edit individual records, and export membership data to CSV.
Customize member emails, including activation and cancellation messages. Reports display total earnings for a selected period or let you examine specific membership levels. Google reCAPTCHA can protect member login forms.
Extend the site setup
The included collection of 34 Pro add-ons includes integrations and other functionality. Developers can extend the extension with action hooks and filters, modify template documents, and use its REST API or WP-CLI integration. The templates are designed to work with themes without requiring custom CSS.
To get started, install and activate Kadence Memberships Pro, create membership levels, configure payment options, then set the content rules for each plan. Review the generated member pages and adjust the registration and account process for your site.
