Storage and maintenance
Filesystem storage is the default, with pictures saved in the WordPress uploads directory. You can change the storage directory path and URL in the options. The change applies to future uploads; existing images remain where they are.
When Infinite Uploads is active, forum images are automatically offloaded to cloud storage, served through its CDN and optimized, with no extra setup required. Amazon S3 storage and delivery for forum images is available through the optional S3 Image Storage for bbPress add-on, which must be purchased separately.
The “Cleanup Unnecessary Files” tool removes temporary uploads older than 24 hours, images removed from existing topics and replies, and image folders belonging to deleted posts. Cleanup works with whichever storage engine is active.
Pro upload and image settings
