CodePeople Post Map for Google Maps Premium
CodePeople Post Map for Google Maps places maps in posts and WordPress templates using locations associated with content. On a single post, a map can display that post’s geolocation and, optionally, recent posts from related categories. In templates, markers can represent posts on the page, and hovering over a marker highlights the related post.

Choose points and control what appears
- Load points from selected posts, categories, tags or all posts. Post search can use location information and descriptions.
- Associate multiple points with a post or page, and reuse those points across multiple maps.
- Use any public post type and show a map for each post on non-singular pages.
- Create legends from categories, tags or taxonomies to control point visibility.
- Generate dynamic points from image metadata or WordPress App geolocation. Show the visitor’s location and refresh it at intervals.
Routes, search and map layers
Draw routes with travel-mode settings or add shapes to a map. A place search box helps users find locations. Maps can include links for directions, Google Maps or Street View, and KML layers can be loaded from documents.
Points can be exported or imported through CSV or KML. Add maps as sidebar widgets and group markers into clusters. A post or page can display multiple maps that use the same points.
Set the map presentation
Paid map options cover width, height, margins, alignment, language, map type, drag behavior, controls, zoom and the number of points shown. Choose roadmap, satellite, terrain or hybrid views. Dynamic zoom can fit all points together; with dynamic zoom disabled, set a fixed zoom value.
Show or hide information bubbles, open one by default, or display the map directly or through an icon in posts and pages. If a point has no associated image, its information window can show the post’s featured image.
Developer edition contact utilities
Developer includes Premium features and includes contact forms linked to map points. Form submissions can send notification emails, and points can have unique or global email addresses. Point descriptions support Contact Form 7 shortcodes, and images associated with points can be used as map icons.
Add maps to content
Shortcode attributes can load points by category, by multiple categories or from all points. A configured map can also be referenced by its map ID. Map attributes can set dimensions, alignment, zoom, map type, language and other display options. Install the selected paid edition in WordPress, configure map settings and point locations, then add maps to posts, pages, templates, widgets or other supported WordPress locations with the add-on shortcode.
