Customer Email Verification for WooCommerce Pro lets you require email confirmation from new registrants and existing clients. You can exempt selected user roles and apply verification to current customers.

Set access rules for unverified visitors and guests

Choose which parts of your shop require a verified account. Pro can restrict unverified customers from selected products, shop pages, categories, tags, the cart, or custom URLs. You can also block checkout for unverified users, prevent guests from adding products to the cart, block WooCommerce order emails for non-verified users, and restrict access to the Thank you or Order received page. Customize the message shown when someone reaches blocked content.

Choose when verification happens

Verification can be required after a password reset or when one of a customer’s non-free orders is considered paid. If a customer changes their email address, Pro can unverify the account, log the customer out, and resend an activation link.

Manage accounts and activation emails

Administrators can manually verify or unverify users, resend activation links, and delete unverified users manually or on an automated schedule. Activation and verification emails support editable titles, headings, and content, with Plain, WooCommerce, or Smart templates. You can also personalize the verification messages displayed on the storefront.

Connect verification with other utilities

A REST API endpoint lets users be verified through the REST API. Compatibility settings are available for selected tools and themes, including WooCommerce Social Login, Super Socializer, MyListing, Nextend Social Login, WooMail, Polylang, Essential Addons for Elementor, WooCommerce email customizers, Paid Memberships Pro, YayMail, and WoodMart.
