Custom Order Status Manager for WooCommerce Premium lets you organize orders around the stages your shop uses. Create unlimited custom statuses, edit existing ones, or remove statuses you no longer need.

Map the stages staff need to see

Give each status a label, icon, or text color, then add a status column to the WooCommerce order list. Staff can scan order progress there without opening each order. A made-to-order store might track production, quality checks, and dispatch. A service business could use received, scheduled, in progress, and completed.

Should payment determine an order’s starting status?

Create default statuses for payment methods and assign statuses to default and third-party payment methods. Orders can enter your workflow with a status suited to how the customer paid, then move through the stages your store defines.

You can enable email notifications for clients or administrators. To activate an email template for a custom status, go to WooCommerce > Settings > Email, choose that status’s template, enable it, and save your changes.

Manage timed transitions, reports, and stock

Set automatic custom status transitions based on time intervals. The Premium features also let you display order information in WooCommerce Reports and increase or decrease stock levels according to order status changes.

Add a custom order status

After installing and activating the plugin, open WooCommerce > Order Status and select Add New. Enter a title, provide a unique slug, and select Publish. You can then configure the status label, icon, or text color and set up the payment defaults, email notifications, transitions, reporting, and stock behavior your process needs.
