Find and preview styles
The analyzer scans rendered theme stylesheets and indexes media queries, selectors, properties, and values. Search by selector to adjust a specific element, or by property and value to find styles used across selectors. A sample preview shows how the original styles and your overrides combine before you save.
Edit existing properties, add new ones, or enter raw CSS for new selectors and responsive @media queries. Choose hex, RGBA, or named colors with the Spectrum color picker, and add fallback values for a property. The tool can generate vendor-prefixed properties and CSS gradients. Its gradient controls support two colors without intermediate stops.
Keep custom styles in a child theme
Create a child theme from an installed parent theme, or configure or duplicate an existing child theme. The analyzer checks stylesheet dependencies and helps set up how parent and child stylesheets load. Save custom styles to the primary stylesheet or a separate stylesheet. The plugin's CSS editing features also let PRO visitors scan installed plugin stylesheets and save plugin style overrides in the child theme.
Child-theme styles are stored separately from parent theme and plugin files, so updates do not overwrite those files with your custom rules. If an update changes selectors or stylesheet behavior, review the related overrides.
Manage child-theme files and options
Copy parent theme templates for customization, and copy menus, widgets, and Customizer options when creating a child theme. Copying options can overwrite settings already saved in the child theme. You can add web fonts, upload child-theme pictures and a screenshot, and export a child theme as a ZIP archive. The plugin works with WordPress Multisite and uses the WordPress Filesystem API.
Before activation, preview and test the child theme. Some themes may not load parent templates or child stylesheets correctly, which can affect the website when the child theme is activated.
