Choose the content and its order
Build each display around posts or pages selected by post type, post or page ID, taxonomy, categories, tags, post formats, author, keyword, or status. Sort results by ID, title, date, or modified date. These settings can shape a latest-news section, an author archive, a category page, or a collection of selected articles.
Place displays in an editor or template
For placement in a post, page, widget, or another area of your website, copy the generated shortcode. If the display belongs in a theme template or PHP file, such as a homepage or header template, use the available PHP function. Both methods place the configured carousel or grid where it is needed.
Give each display its own settings
Create unlimited carousels or grids, each with its own layout, content selection, filters, and sorting preferences. You can use separate displays for featured content, recent posts, selected categories, or author content. Existing Post Carousel or Grid content continues to work when you upgrade to the premium version.
Theme and translation support
Smart Post works with WordPress themes that follow WordPress standards. It is translation-ready and compatible with WPML, Polylang, Loco Translate, qTranslate-x, GTranslate, Google Language Translator, and WPGlobus.
Set up a carousel or grid
To get started, install and activate Smart Post in WordPress, then make a carousel or grid.
