GTmetrix for WordPress reports

Administrators can execute analyses of a WordPress installation from the administration area. Requests use the GTmetrix API, so an API account is required. Account registration is free.

Run reports on a schedule

Start an analysis when needed or schedule reports to run daily, weekly, or monthly. The add-on can send alerts if the website falls below certain criteria, prompting an administrator to review its status and the related GTmetrix information.

Additional API credits with GTmetrix PRO

When the available API credits do not cover the analyses you want to run, GTmetrix PRO is the paid option for purchasing more. Additional credits are available under the GTmetrix PRO tab.

Administrator access

Only administrators can use the add-on by default. It makes the access_gtmetrix capability. An administrator can assign this capability to other roles with a role-management add-on such as Members or User Role Editor.

Install and connect

1. Upload the gtmetrix-for-wordpress directory to /wp-content/plugins/.
2. Activate the add-on through the Plugins menu.
3. Open the new menu entry and enter your GTmetrix API details.

Compatibility

The plugin listing says it has not been tested with the latest three major WordPress releases. It may no longer be maintained or supported and may have compatibility issues with more recent versions.
