Sensei Pro Course Creation for WordPress

Sensei Pro extends Sensei LMS, a WordPress add-on for creating courses, lessons, and quizzes. Build course content with the WordPress Block Editor, adapt its appearance to your site’s theme, and use Learning Mode for a focused lesson view.

Course sales and access

Connect WooCommerce to set a course price and sell courses. Sensei Pro also integrates with WooCommerce Subscriptions, Payments, Memberships, and Affiliates extensions.

Set a course start date, end date, or duration for student access. Groups and cohorts help organize students and manage access for different audiences. Conditional content can display or conceal lessons and other content based on groups, enrollment status, or date.

When should lessons become available?

Scheduled content drip releases lessons at fixed intervals after a student starts a course or on a particular date. These schedules let course creators set the pace of a course alongside its access period.

Interactive lessons and quizzes

Add interactive blocks to lessons, pages, or posts, including videos, flashcards, picture hotspots, and task lists. Flashcards can contain text, videos, images, and embeds on both sides.

Sensei LMS works with multiple-choice, fill-in-the-blank, true-or-false, free-response, and file-upload questions. Sensei Pro adds quiz timers and ordering questions. It also lets you place individual quiz questions in WordPress content outside a standard quiz.

Shared course editing

Co-teachers can share course ownership and edit course options, lessons, and quizzes. The Course List block shows available courses on a page or post, and the free Course Theme includes another option for course presentation. Sensei Pro includes dedicated priority support from the engineering team.
