New User Approve Pro: WordPress Registration Controls
New User Approve Pro includes registration controls for WordPress membership sites, communities, online stores, and private portals. When someone registers, administrators receive an email alert and can approve or deny the account. The user is emailed the decision: approved users receive their login details, while pending and denied users cannot log in.

Review registrations before login

Choose who can register and how accounts proceed
Invite-only registration limits signups to invited people. Administrators can add invitation codes manually, generate them in bulk, email them, or import existing codes. Codes can have usage limits and expiry dates. A valid code can automatically approve a registration.
- Email domains: Set trusted domains to auto-approve and blacklist generic or suspicious domains. These rules apply to the specified domains.
- User roles: Choose roles for automatic approval through the add-on options.
- Registration deadlines: Close registration at a specified date or time, or after a set number of signups. A user with a valid invitation code can still register after that limit.
Control notifications and role requests
Customize email messages for users and administrators, use HTML formatting, and suppress denial notifications if preferred. Approved users can also submit role-change requests through a shortcode or account page. Administrators manage those requests in a dedicated area.
Connect approval events and manage signups on mobile
Extended Zapier triggers cover users becoming approved, denied, pending, or automatically approved through a role, email domain, or invitation code. These events can connect with services such as Gmail, Sheets, and Slack.
The dedicated mobile app lets administrators review complete user profiles, approve or deny registrations, and receive push notifications for new signups.
Configure the registration workflow
Install and activate New User Approve, then set notification preferences, approval rules, invitation settings, deadlines, and role-request behavior for the site. The documentation covers setup and troubleshooting.
