WordPress plugin
Header Footer Code Manager Pro
Header Footer Code Manager Pro keeps HTML, JavaScript, and CSS snippets in one WordPress management area. Add, edit, review, and remove snippets without scattering small code entries across theme documents or separate add-ons. Labels identify each snippet; records display who added or last edited it and when.

Choose where a snippet appears
Set a snippet to show across every post and page, or target a specific post, page, category, tag, or custom post type. You can also choose the latest posts and select how many, or use a shortcode to place code manually.
Choose the head section, footer, top of content, or bottom of content as the injection location. Device options let you display the snippet on all devices, desktop only, or mobile only. These rules determine where code loads; the snippet's contents determine what it does.
Use snippets from common services
The add-on accepts HTML, JavaScript, and CSS code from a wide range of services. Examples include Google Analytics, Google AdSense, Google Tag Manager, Clicky Web Analytics, chat modules such as Olark or Drip, Facebook pixels and scripts, Facebook picture tags, Google conversion pixels, Twitter heatmaps from Crazy Egg, notification bars such as Hello Bar, and website-verification code.
From installation to a managed snippet
Install and activate the extension in WordPress. Open the settings link under its name or select the HFCM tab in the left navigation. Add a snippet, give it a label, choose its display conditions and injection location, then save it for review. When adding JavaScript, wrap the code in script tags so it is interpreted as code rather than shown as text.
On a multisite network, activate the plugin at the subsite level only. The Pro edition includes additional features compared with the free version; the Pro-versus-Free comparison identifies the differences.
