Embedder for Google Reviews Pro for WordPress

Embedder for Google Reviews Pro includes review selection and presentation controls to WordPress widgets for Google Business Profile reviews. It can pull reviews from Google My Business or Google Business Profile, update them automatically, and save them in the WordPress database. The product information says setup requires no Google API key, Google Places API key, or Google Place ID.

Choose which reviews appear

The free version displays up to 20 reviews; Pro can pull all reviews for a business. Filter by rating to display 4-star or 5-star reviews, or search review text for selected words, including positive terms.

• All reviews: Pull a business's full set of reviews.
• Rating filter: Show reviews with selected ratings, including 4 or 5 stars.
• Word filter: Find selected terms in review text and filter the results.

Set the widget's presentation

Choose a slider for sequential browsing or a grid for a grouped view. Pro includes premium designs and options for more control over the widget's appearance. Designs can also be customized with CSS. Dummy content is available for testing when a business has no reviews yet.

Widgets use shortcodes and are described as compatible with Divi, Classic Editor, Gutenberg, Page Origin, Beaver Builder, and WPBakery. Reviews saved in the WordPress database remain available for show and navigation within the website.

Add a review widget

Install and activate the plugin, search for the local business in its interface, click “Pull reviews,” and save. Copy the shortcode and paste it into a page, post, or supported editor where the reviews should appear.
