Build WooCommerce email templates

Email Customizer for WooCommerce Premium offers a drag-and-drop editor for transactional email templates. Choose from 11 default WooCommerce email templates, arrange content in rows, and add unlimited rows. Add columns before placing elements. Premium supports multiple-column layouts and lets you adjust the number of columns. Changes appear as you edit, with a live preview to review the styling.

Arrange content and set styles

Add text, pictures, dividers, gaps, social icons, buttons, GIFs, and WooCommerce elements. Available controls depend on the element: text options include font details, borders, and margins, while buttons, dividers, and gaps have their own appearance options. Social elements can link up to 11 accounts and use one of five icon styles. Premium includes background image, border, and padding controls for each email element.

Include order and customer details

Dynamic placeholders can insert details such as the customer name, website name, visitor name, account and password URLs, customer notes, full name, order ID, and order creation date. Premium adds placeholders for order, billing, and shipping information. WooCommerce elements and hooks can add the email header, order details, order table, order meta, and customer details. Templates can also display downloadable product data.

Custom hooks can display shortcodes from third-party add-ons and add dynamic content. Compatibility is listed for YITH WooCommerce Gift Cards and WooCommerce Order Status Manager. WPML compatibility lets you design templates in multiple languages.

Assign and transfer templates

Email Mapping assigns emails to order statuses and includes 12 email conditions. You can export templates and import them into another store. The export can include the template's email status mapping and subject. Use the reset option in Email Customizer and Templates to return a template to its original state.

Review a template

Select an email template, arrange its rows and columns, add elements, and configure their content and appearance. Check the result in the live preview. To send a test email, choose an order and email status, enter a recipient address, and send the test from the editor.
