Prepare audio for WordPress playlists
AudioIgniter Pro is the paid edition of AudioIgniter Music Player for publishing playlists in WordPress posts, pages, and custom post types. Use it for music libraries, podcast episodes, radio shows, and other streamed audio. Playlists are built with WordPress media uploads, and the player works with unlimited playlists and tracks, responsive layouts, Elementor, Visual Composer, and the Gutenberg Block Editor.
Listed audio and radio services include Acast, Amazon S3, Anchor, Art19, AudioBoom, Castbox, Captivate, Icecast, Podbean, Radiojar, Shoutcast, Speaker, Stitcher, and Libsyn.
Add tracks and organize the library
Bulk upload multiple audio files, then rearrange tracks as needed. AudioIgniter Pro can extract ID3 tags automatically from MP3 files. Its internal taxonomy supports archiving audio content.
Add lyrics, a custom “Buy track” URL, or a custom download URL to an individual track. The download URL can synchronize automatically with the audio URL. To display one track without creating a playlist, use the standalone shortcode. Widgets and shortcodes offer additional placement settings.
Place playlists and set playback
After installing and activating AudioIgniter Pro, make playlists with WordPress media uploads. Add them to a post, page, or other supported placement using a shortcode, widget, or Gutenberg custom block. Then configure playback, display, links, and colors for each player.
Playback options include skipping by an adjustable number of seconds, 1x, 1.5x, and 2x playback rates, shuffle, and a selected starting track. You can repeat an individual track, stop a track after it plays, or set a customizable delay between tracks. The default track timer can use countdown mode.
When a page has multiple players, the Pro edition can stop tracks from other players. A fixed-position player can provide continuous play when the active theme supports it. The player also remembers the last played track and position. Choose Full or Simple player mode; Simple mode can fit podcasts.
Adjust presentation and review activity
Playlist settings control track listings, track numbers, track covers, active-track covers, artist names, listing height, repeat behavior, and maximum player width. Customize colors through the Customizer or use the Gutenberg custom block to set colors per player. Streaming service button links can also appear in the player.
Per-playlist and per-track analytics let you review how audio content performs. They can be used with music catalogs, podcast collections, radio programming, and websites that include track purchase or download links.
Support is provided for both the free and Pro versions. The product information states an average response time of 24 hours.
