WP Clean Admin Menu Pro: Organize Menus by Role

WP Clean Admin Menu Pro lets administrators shape the WordPress dashboard menu around the tasks visitors need to do. Hide unused admin menus and sub-menus to reduce visual clutter and make frequently used areas easier to find.

Shared menu or different views by role?

For a shared workflow, administrators can conceal entries that are not needed. The Pro edition includes role-based menu visibility, so roles with different tasks can have different menu selections. For example, one role can see the entries relevant to its tasks while another role has a different selection.

The add-on focuses on what appears in the administration menu. Hidden items can be viewed again when needed.

Set up and review the menu

1. Install WP Clean Admin Menu Pro in WordPress and open its menu controls.
2. Review the dashboard menu and identify entries that are unnecessary for the intended workflow.
3. Select the admin menus and sub-menus to hide.
4. Configure the available role-based options for the relevant user roles.
5. Use the left-side “Toggle Menu Items” button to view hidden items again when needed.
