How can you tailor navigation and visibility?
Rearrange menu items with drag and drop, rename them, move top-level items into sub-level positions, or place items elsewhere in the menu structure. Create menu items and separators, change top-level icons with Dashicons or an uploaded icon, and set properties such as CSS classes, capability access, and link targets. Create multiple custom menus.
For toolbars, add, remove, reorder, rename, or reposition items, including moving them between levels. Restore menus and toolbars to their last saved version or to the standard WordPress arrangement. Revisions let you roll back edits.
Apply interface arrangements to selected roles or users. Hide plugins, users, sidebars, and meta boxes for selected users or roles. Meta box visibility settings can cover post types, including custom post types, and the dashboard page.
Which other areas can you personalize?
Change the login screen background color and logo, add backend and frontend favicons, and adjust link and button colors. Set footer text on admin pages, using shortcodes such as [year] for copyright text. You can also remove the WordPress version number from the footer and conceal the admin toolbar on the frontend.
Add custom admin CSS, login CSS, JavaScript or jQuery, and PHP. You can also add custom CSS and JavaScript or jQuery to the frontend.
How do notices, widgets, and website modes work?
Create admin notices for selected users or profiles and set an expiry date. Build dashboard widgets and configure multiple notices or widgets. You can also make a coming soon or maintenance page with custom content and a future expiry date, so the site can go live at a planned time.
Additional controls let you disable automatic updates, add-on updates, or the Gutenberg block editor.
How do you configure and reuse settings?
Install and activate Custom Admin Interface Pro in WordPress, then open its settings. Configure the menus, toolbars, notices, widgets, visibility rules, or code settings you need; assign conditions where needed; and save revisions as you refine the interface. Export the finished settings to a file when you need to apply them to other websites. Import and export tools support deploying settings across multiple websites.
