Disable User Login Pro for Bulk Account Changes
Disable User Login Pro extends Disable User Login with tools for individual accounts and larger user lists. An administrator can disable an account from its profile while keeping the profile and its existing author connections. The user cannot log in. If they try, they are logged out and redirected to the login page with a message that the account is disabled.
Keep account entries when login is disabled
Disable User Login Pro extends Disable User Login with tools for individual accounts and larger user lists. An administrator can disable an account from its profile while keeping the profile and its existing author connections. The user cannot log in. If they try, they are logged out and redirected to the login page with a message that the account is disabled.
This keeps former employees in author listings without reassigning their published posts, and lets freelance writers remain listed while access is paused. Administrators can also restrict a client account during development or while an invoice remains unpaid.
Manage accounts in bulk
Import or export CSV documents to enable or disable hundreds of visitors. For selected accounts, administrators can also use the Enable and Disable bulk actions on the Users screen. Enabled and Disabled views display account counts, and the Disabled column is sortable.
Notify users and review changes
- Email notifications can go to users when their accounts are disabled or re-enabled. Customize templates with merge tags and optionally send a copy to an administrator.
- The audit log records account status changes with timestamps, the person who made each change, the reason, and its source. The log can be exported as a CSV file.
Support different account processes
Membership sites can process account changes in bulk and keep a record of them. Nonprofits can manage volunteer access as people join or leave activities. Agencies can handle client onboarding and offboarding, while universities can manage student account changes using spreadsheet imports and status filters.
Set up account controls
Install and activate Disable User Login Pro. Manage an individual account from its user profile, filter accounts on the Users screen, or use CSV tools for larger changes. Customize the disabled-user message at Settings > Disable User Login in the WordPress admin, or use the disable_user_login.disabled_message filter in code.
Review email templates before enabling notifications, then use the audit log to track account changes. Pro clients also receive priority support.
