Aurora Heatmap Premium Click Heatmaps for WordPress
Aurora Heatmap Premium shows recorded visitor clicks as desktop and mobile heatmaps in WordPress. Compare activity across page areas, check whether calls to action receive clicks, and identify content or layouts to review. The maps show behavior patterns rather than a count of every visit.

Coverage and privacy
- Analyze pages and page views without limits.
- Use the plugin within WordPress without a separate heatmap service account.
- The add-on does not use cookies, track users, send recorded data to external servers, or record personally identifiable data, including IP addresses.
- Premium includes priority email support, a weekly email, and an unread-detection tab with click, breakaway, and attention heatmaps. A monthly or annual license is required.
Collection and accuracy settings
Install and activate the plugin, then allow visitor activity to accumulate. Depending on website traffic, data may build up within a few hours to two days. A specific algorithm selects activity for recording, and administrator access is excluded, so heatmap totals may be lower than website visit counts.
Activity is recorded through Ajax communication as often as necessary. The dashboard shows recorded data after you reload the screen; it does not update automatically in real time.
The accuracy setting controls which data is recorded. High accuracy is recommended for a more accurate heatmap. If recording is insufficient, try Standard. Switching to High accuracy deletes previous Standard data; selecting Standard begins recording Standard data from that point onward.
Page addresses and caching
Heatmap data is associated with the page URL. If you change a permalink or post slug, the new address is treated as a separate page.
Aurora Heatmap can be used with WP Rocket, W3 Total Cache, and WP Super Cache. If a cache plugin interferes with measurement, turn off JavaScript-related optimization or exclude jQuery and the Aurora Heatmap measurement script, reporter.js, from optimization. If data does not appear, clear the cache and check that the site is receiving users. Extremely low traffic may result in little or no data.
Installation
Install Aurora Heatmap Premium through the WordPress plugin process and activate it to begin collecting activity. No coding or complex setup is required, and the plugin is designed to work by default in most WordPress environments.
