Select a theme for each mobile browser group

Any Mobile Theme Switcher Pro detects most mobile browsers and loads the theme assigned to the detected category in the WordPress options. You select which themes to use and configure their assignments in the administration area.

Browser categories and Pro capabilities

Available categories include iPhone and iPod, iPad, Palm OS, Android, Android Tablet, Windows Mobile, BlackBerry, Opera Mini, and other mobile browsers. You can assign a various theme to each category.

The Pro edition includes these mobile settings:

• Compatibility with W3 Total Cache
• A separate home page for mobile devices
• A QR code option for mobile bookmarking
• Improved mobile detection
• Click-to-call behavior for phone numbers

Let visitors switch views

Add a Switch to Desktop or Switch to Mobile link using a shortcode or a menu entry. Follow the instructions in the add-on settings to configure the link, so visitors can choose a different theme from the one selected by browser detection.

Themes and compatibility

The add-on offers theme switching and does not include a pre-built mobile theme.

Configure theme assignments

Install the plugin and open its settings page. Select a mobile theme for each browser category, configure a separate mobile home page if needed, and set up user switching options. If the site uses W3 Total Cache, configure the cache setup with the Pro compatibility in mind.
